They are a bit more intelligible now but it is good to ask agent for a letter explaining what is covered and what is not after you have read the policy; esle agent will tell you to read it.

Check for Mom too.
Good idea, Grins

Hello, Louise.

Time to check the chicken & Rice dish. I decided to put on a big pot of if since it was all rainy and dreary outside. Nothing like a hot, nourishing meal to make it all better. Later, klatchers.

I'm back folks and all is well.

Good advice on the homeowner's update. We were extremely lucky when Katrina came through and only lost a couple of sections of fence around the pool and the ~30 trees in the yard. No damage to the house... BUT it sure made me realize that I hadn't updated the homeowner's since we bought the place in 1989 except to add the pool to the policy.

You need to know the value of your stuff too. When I asked my agent if I needed a separate rider for my guns he told me "no" that they were covered as "Personal Property" up to $1,000 per item. I had to explain to him that the guns I was talking about are two Colt revolvers that belonged to my great-grandfather when he was a US Marshall in Oklahoma "Territory" and I had an appraisal showing that each of them was valued as a collector's item for over $1,200.

We need to update our home inventory video too! Texanne, while your getting these new appliances it's a good time to note the model/serial numbers.

Good memory jogger for all of us.

See, the KK serves a Public Service!

I just read that. A bag of crisps and a chocolate bar... great treats for your dog!

Good for you. Last time I saw you here you were feverish but still trying to get some work done. I'm glad to hear you're all better.

Take care, Al. The flu makes you think it's gone, then wham!

Al I think you need to see a doctor, still running a fever might mean it has turned into something worse.

Yep, switchins do hurt. With or without the leaves left on. I tried it both ways when sent to cut my own switch.
With the leaves you don't feel those little sticker things.
Little ones around here used to get threatened a lot with switches, a lot of waving them around very little using them.

Texanne, I have a blue swan my Mother-in-law gave me and I always wondered if it was cobalt blue. DH and I used to go to auctions and I heard the term used a lot! Is there a marking to look for?

I agree with nanabillie. It might be time for the doctor. You've been running a fever for almost a week now that I know of.

Please CLICK HERE

or Google "DIFFERENCES AMONG COLD, SEASONAL FLU & H1N1 SYMPTOMS"

There are a bunch of sites with the info. What worries me is....

SYMPTOM: Fever
COLD: Fever is rare with a cold.
SEASONAL FLU: Fever is common with the seasonal flu.
H1N1: Fever is usually present with H1N1 in up to 80% of all flu cases. A temperature of 101°

The other symptoms compared/contrasted are:
COUGHING
ACHES
STUFFY NOSE
CHILLS
TIREDNESS
SNEEZING
SUDDEN SYMPTOMS
HEADACHE
SORE THROAT
CHEST DISCOMFORT

Also CLICK HERE for the WebMD information regarding colds and flu.

Read up on this so you know for sure what you're dealing with. You don't want to let whatever it is end up as pneumonia. From the last link I posted:
Quote:
When do I call the doctor with flu or cold symptoms?

If you already have flu or cold symptoms, it's important to call your doctor if you also have any of the following severe symptoms:

* Persistent fever: This can be a sign of another bacterial infection that should be treated.
* Painful swallowing: Although a sore throat from a cold or flu can cause mild discomfort, severe pain could mean strep throat, which requires treatment by a doctor.
* Persistent coughing: When a cough doesn't go away after two or three weeks, it could be bronchitis, which may need an antibiotic. Postnasal drip or sinusitis can also result in a persistent cough. In addition, asthma is another cause of persistent coughing. Asthma medications such as steroids, anti-inflammatory medications, and bronchodilators are necessary to treat asthma.
* Persistent congestion and headaches: When colds and allergies cause congestion and blockage of sinus passages, they can lead to sinus infection. If you have pain around the eyes and face with thick nasal discharge after a week, you may have a bacterial infection and need an antibiotic.
