Fort Bragg, CA ~ 52-year-old Michele Schlick-Harris drove away from her residence on December 31, 2007. When she failed to return, her roommate reported her missing on Jan. 6. Her blue Volkswagen Beetle subsequently was located in the small town of Caspar, about five miles south of Fort Bragg.

Boise, ID ~The 42-year-old was last seen around Christmas 2007 in Idaho City. Authorities say his car and his belongings were left behind. Steve’s family says the last time they talked he mentioned he was quarreling with his girlfriend and his roommate.

Rome, GA~ Missing Since Wade was last seen walking down his grandparents’ Woods Road driveway on Christmas night, December 25, 2007. He upset he could not find a ride to Alabama to see his 11-year-old daughter.

BATESBURG-LEESVILLE, SC ~ Jeremy Leaphart, 20, of Batesburg-Leesville hasn’t been seen since he left his home on December 24, 2007. Investigators say he was on his way to see his ex-girlfriend. Relatives say it’s unusual for him not to contact them for such a long time.
UPDATE: The family of Jeremy Leaphart had their worst fears confirmed after a body found in Leaphart’s hometown was identified as the missing 20-year-old. Darrell Williams, 24, is charged with kidnapping in connection with Jeremy Leaphart’s disappearance. Please remember Jeremy and family in your prayers. More information and updates

Albany, NY ~ 21-year-old missing since December 23, 2007 when he left the Bayou Cafe on North Pearl Street. He was wearing baggy jeans, a black, hooded sweat shirt and a white T-shirt. He is described as a white male, 5-foot-11 and weighing 200 pounds. He has a shaved head, a goatee and brown hair and blue eyes.

Mansfield, OH ~ Holly Metzger (aka Carruthers) was last seen at 9:11 p.m. at the Wal-Mart Supercenter on Possum Run Road and nearby service stations in the area of Interstate 71 and Ohio 13, south of Mansfield. Her abandoned car was found about 4 a.m. Dec. 18, 2007 on Ohio 97 and Ohio 3, close to Loudonville and the Mohican State Forest.
UPDATE: 3/19/08 The body of Holly Metzger Carruthers, 34, was found in the Mohican River in southern Holmes County around 9:30 Tuesday morning, which marks almost exactly three months since the Lexington woman was reported missing on Dec. 17. Thomas ‘Tom’ Smith

Forsyth, MT ~ 39-year-old Tom Smith of Forsyth has been missing since last December 17, 2007. According to the Rosebud County Sheriff, his vehicle was found in Smith Creek, just west of town, and about two miles from his home. They believe Smith left his vehicle and tried to find his way home, but became disorientated.

Old Town, FL ~ The 60, was last seen Dec. 15, 2007 at her home in Old Town. She shares the home with her sister, who reported that a man came into their home and forcibly removed Osteen. She is 5-foot-2 and 120 pounds. No meaningful description of the man is available. 
Matthew Wilson ~ $20,000 Reward

Mansfield, TX ~ Wilson vanished Saturday, December 15, 2007 just before finals, authorities said. At first, his family said they thought he was studying, but not anymore. Investigators said they found Wilson’s cell phone in his off-campus Houston apartment. Wilson’s car and backpack are also missing, police also said.

Yell County, AR ~ Missing Since December 11, 2007 Macy was believed to be with a 19-year-old male, possibly in a green Chevy S-10 Blazer. She may be enroute to Garden City, Alabama.

Jackson, TN ~ Latoyoa, a single mother of 4, went missing on Sunday, December 9, 2007 under suspicious circumstances, according to authorities.

Ludington, MI~ He was last seen near Michael’s Bar and Grill in downtown Ludington around 2 a.m. on December 8, 2007. Smith was last seen wearing a turquoise Carhart jacket, a black sleeveless t-shirt, dark or black camouflage pants and tennis shoes.

Murfreesboro, TN ~ Marsilene was last seen shopping Thursday afternoon December 6, 2007 in Murfreesboro. Police found her Lincoln Navigator in a Wal-Mart parking lot on South Rutherford Boulevard Friday morning.
UPDATE: 3/3/09 Authorities in Murfreesboro arrested a missing Murfreesboro woman’s husband late Tuesday in connection with her disappearance more than a year ago.

Grand Rapids, MI ~ The 60, hasn’t been seen or heard from since about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Her failure to arrive at work Wednesday, December 4, 2007, raised suspicions among fellow insurance-agency workers, who alerted police. Less than a mile from where co-workers found the purse of a missing woman, police discovered her abandoned car.

Mill Valley, CA ~ Veronica Ruiz was last heard from Dec. 3, 2007 after saying she was going for a hike on Mount Tamalpais. She had recently broken up with her boyfriend and was apparently carrying her IRS handgun, which tax enforcement agents are issued. The gun has not been found. Maricris Ruiz said Tuesday that the breakup was “mutual and amiable” and that her sister was in a “normal” frame of mind.
